Mercat de Musica Viva de Vic has been nominated in the category of best regional festival in the Yearly Music Conference Awards (YMCA’s) that are given, informally, as part of The Great Escape (TGE), Europe’s most important emerging music fair that for 6 years takes place in Brighton (England) in mid May. In the same category as MMVV were also nominated the Sonic Visions from Luxembourg, The Waves from Vienna and Nova Scotia Music Week, which finally have won the award.
Besides MMVV, other catalan projects have been nominated, like the Ramon Llull Institute, nominated in the category of best export office and Primavera Pro that won the award for the best bar delegates.
The Great Escape also scheduled a round table with representatives of Sónar, Primavera Sound, the Institut Ramon Llull and the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic.
