Mercat de Música Viva, which will be taking place in Vic between the 12th and 16th of September, has closed this week the period of artistic proposals application, with 700 projects received. 47% of the projects are from Catalunya, while 25% are from the rest of Spain and 28% are foreigners.
Regarding the Spanish groups, Andalusia, Madrid, Valencia and Euskadi are the communities where most bands come from, while internationally there are projects from 43 countries, mainly France, Italy Argentina and Portugal. There are also bands from Germany, Morocco, Malaysia, South Korea, Colombia, Uruguay, USA, Canada and Burkina Faso, among other countries.
